Long time no see! Need suggestions!

Hello everyone!

Nice to "see"  you all again!  I have to admit, I took a bit of a break because I was bummed that NO ONE entered my ending October 18 giveaways!  One of them was a FREE outfit from my store!  I don't get it!!  But the good news is that my CSN giveaway got LOTS of entries and I got a bunch of new followers!  Welcome!!

So here is what I need.  I bought some pants and I don't know what kind of top to wear with them.  They are brown pinstripe straight leg pants (which with my size means WIDE legged!!).  What color top should I get and should it be a tunic?  Here is a link to the pants.  The color is brown with true camel pinstripes.  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

My second dilemma is that I have about 3/4 lb of leftover pork roast, any ideas on how to stretch it to make a meal for 4 people?  Again any and all suggestion are appreciated!!

Love and Blessings!
Margaret

P.S. CSN Winner will be posted this evening!!

  1. In the picture online they look kind of grey? Ordering clothes online always throws me for a loop because I worry it won't look like what I thought it did. Would a burgundy color go?

Shred the pork for sandwiches? I've become addicted to online recipe sites these days. They are so helpful when you get stuck in a rut on what to cook.

  2. Hi Jennifer,

Yes on the link they are grey but if you click on the brown with true camel, then the picture will change. I think the burgundy may still work with the brown though, I have to see how it looks, thanks for the suggestion!

I use online recipe sites all the time. My friend sent me a nice soup recipe so I may try that. I would shred it for sandwiches put I don't think it's enough! LOL! Thanks for your input~!

  3. I know how frustrating it is to have no one enter a giveaway... some how I missed it too! I would pair those pants with a white shirt. It would brighten the outfit up a little. Sorry, not much of a pork eater so I have nothing to offer for that problem. Good Luck coming up a with a meal!

  4. Thanks for visiting my site. I'd go with a simple white top, but dress it up with some of the longer chains that are popular right now. As for the pork, shred it, add some sauce, and serve with warm tortillas (which you can avacados, lettuce, cheese, etc) to make it last longer) - even some good black beans or kidney beans would make it yummy. Otherwise, black-eyed peas and cornbread are always good and what I eat with pork.
